A small beam bridge along the 67 kilometer Baye Expressway that connects the G42 and G50 Expressways from Badong to Yesanguan in Hubei Province, the Dayangpo cantilevered crossing has piers as tall as 113 meters. Just to the south is the massive Second Badong Yangtze River Bridge with cable stayed towers as tall as 374 meters, the third tallest in the world after the Nanpanjiang Puzhehei and Sutong Second Yangtze River Bridges.

The route has several other high crossings including the 410 meter span Barenhe arch bridge located 20 kilometers to the south.
