Pingdi #1 Bridge is a large viaduct with two main cantilevered beam spans separated by a mountain ridge. The east span of 160 meters is supported by piers as tall as 114 meters.
The Pindi One Bridge is part of a unique 3.7 kilometer mountain spiral tunnel that carries the expressway from the valley floor up to a much higher elevation as it crosses more than 150 meters above itself.
The Jiumian Expressway connects Jiuzhaigou with Mianyang and has several other high beam spans including the Elicun, Fujiang Pingwu and Fujiang Guangping Bridges.
