Houxia Number 2 Bridge is part of a remote section of the Wulumuqi to Yuli expressway in the Ürümqi area of Xinjiang Province. The crossing has an unusual span configuration of 70+100+70+100+70 meters on piers as tall as 142 meters.
Not far from the Houxia Number 2 Bridge is the 22 kilometer Shengli tunnel, the longest expressway tunnel in China.
