Nizhuhe canyon has several slat bridges and "ladders" that are open to tourists including one across the Nizhu River that is 80 meters high. Several hundred meters of cliffwalks are connected to angled ladders including one on the side of a 400 meter high cliff overlooking the Beipan River.
The famous tourist site is also home to the Nizhuhe Glass Platform, the highest cantilevered glass platform in the world with a deck 470 meters above the surface of the Beipan River.
Just next door along the same cliff is the Nizhuhe glass bungy jump platform, one of the highest outdoor thrill sport attractions in the world with a jumping point over 400 meters higher than the surface of the Beipan River.
Crossing over the Nizuhe canyon is the Nizhuhe Yunduan Footbridge, the highest glass footbridge in the world with a deck 317 meters high.
These pedestrian platforms are part of a major tourism development located on the Yunnan side of the Beipanjiang River gorge approximately 8 kilometers north of the Duge Bridge on the G56 Expressway.
The Nizhuhe scenic area also has a dual 268 meter tall cliff elevator that is a world record if measured by the outside section.
