Located high up along a mountainous slope near Leibo city, the Shangwujiao Pipeline Bridge cuts across a deep crevasse near the G4216 Yibin to Panzhihua Expressway. The route has Sichuan's largest collection of high level bridges.
The G4216 Expressway parallels much of the Jinshajiang reservoir that was formed by the giant Xiluodu Dam. With a height of 285.5 meters, Xiluodu is among the 5 tallest concrete dams in the world and is located on the border of Sichuan and Yunnan Provinces.
