More then 20 International BASE jumpers from 10 different countries gathered at the Nizhuhe Glass Platform, Cloud Glass Bridge and Gondola Ropeway in the fall of 2024 for several BASE jump events to celebrate the spectacular Nizhu Scenic Canyon Scenic Area.

Nizhuhe Grand Canyon 2024 / 2025 / 2026 BASE Jump Events


A series of BASE events took place at Nizhuhe canyon starting in September 2024 with a small group of seven BASE jumpers from China and Australia leaping from the 470 meter high Nizhuhe Glass Platform.

The events were organized by Gary Cunningham, President of the Australian BASE Association, Eric Sakowski, creator of HighestBridges.com and Zhu Fan of Tianjin.

In November 2024 the 1st Nizhuhe BASE event took place with 20 International BASE jumpers culminating in an 18-way jump from the platform, the 317 meter high Cloud Glass Bridge and Cable Car Gondola.

In April of 2025 the 2nd Nizhuhe BASE event took take place at Nizhuhe Canyon with 30 International jumpers from around the world.

In April of 2026 the 3rd Nizhuhe BASE event occurred with 20 International jumpers from around the world.
