Pingdi #1 Bridge is a large viaduct with two main cantilevered beam spans separated by a mountain ridge. The east span of 160 meters is supported by piers as tall as 114 meters.

The Jiumian Expressway connects Jiuzhaigou with Mianyang and has several other high beam spans including the Elicun and Fujiang Piingwu Bridges.
