Diaolanhe Railway Bridge
吊兰河大桥
Bijie, Guizhou, China
(535) feet high / (163) meters high
472 foot span / 144 meter span
2017
One of the highest beam bridges on the spectacular new twin track high speed railway line between Guiyang and Chengdu, the Diaolanhe Railway Bridge crosses a deep canyon east of Bijie city. The entire area around the Bijie Airport is a hot spot of high bridge activity with 5 spans exceeding 100 meters in height.
Very similar but slightly larger then the Luojiaohe Railway Bridge 6 kilometers to the east, the Diaolanhe Railway Bridge has a central span configuration of 76+144+76 meters. The view above is a guess of the crossing spot as seen from the Diaolanhe Bijie Airport Expressway Bridge.
