Youfanggou Bridge
油房沟特大桥
Leibo, Sichuan, China
(575) feet high / (175) meters high
656 foot span / 200 meter span
2013
Youfanggou is one of 2 large and high beam bridges that were completed in 2013 to raise the level of local road S307 to the upper slopes of the Jinshajiang (Yangtze) river to avoid being submerged under the lake formed from the completion of the Xiluodu Dam. With a height of 285.5 meters, Xiluodu is the 3rd tallest concrete dam in the world and is located on the border of Sichuan and Yunnan Provinces.
The other high bridge on route S307 to the south is Zhuazhuayan while Aotiangou is even further south on another road in nearby Yunnan Province.
