Opened in 2007 as a replacement bridge for a damaged concrete truss-arch from 1995, the second Yanjinhe crossing is a simple 3-span prestressed concrete beam bridge with a main span of 650 foot (198 mtr) flanked by uneven side spans of 76 and 110 meters for a total length of 384 meters. The width of the bridge is 13 meters while the box beam width is 6.5 meters. The deck is 103 meters above the normal full level of the reservoir with another 60+ meters to the old level of the Yanjinhe River surface.
Due to an increase in traffic, a second parallel beam span was opened in 2015 next to the 2007 original beam bridge which now serves only the southbound lanes of route S208 while the new beam span carries northbound traffic. The 2015 beam bridge has a main span of 230 meters - 32 meters longer then the 2007 original.
The first crossing was via a concrete arch that became damaged a few years after it opened in 1995 and had to be closed to automobile traffic. The second Route S208 Yanjinhe beam bridges are located just a half mile (one kilometer) upstream from the original arch bridge which was open to pedestrians for several years before being completely closed.
Finally in 2009 and 2015 a third and a fourth crossing of the Yanjinhe river opened as a part of two new 4-lane expressways that make it easy to access Renhuai city and the Chishui River gorge.
2007年通车的该桥用来替代原先的1995年建成的混凝土桁架拱桥第二座盐津河大桥是一个简单的3跨预应力混凝土梁桥，主跨200米。原先的混凝土拱桥在通车数年之后损坏而被迫关闭机动车通行。第二座盐津河大桥就在目前仅仅有行人可以通行的旧桥上游半英里（一公里）处。第三座，2009年建成通车更高的大桥跨越在盐津河之上，位于一条4车道公路之上。

The renowned Guizhou Maotai alcohol factory is located in Renhuai. The famous drink is the most consumed liquor in China with alcohol content that ranges from the standard 53 percent down to 35 percent. The drink has a soy-sauce like fragrance that is distilled from fermented sorghum. An observation tower shaped like a giant can sits high up over the Yanjinhe River gorge.
