Shuanglong Bridge crosses the famous Daninghe River about 20 kilometers north of its confluence with the Yangtze River in the 3 Gorges region of Chongqing.
The steel box rib span supports a 2-lane local route near the city of Shuanglongzhen. Every year hundreds of tour boats travel beneath the bridge as they travel north over the deep waters of the reservoir formed by the 3 Gorges Dam.
