Sanchagou Bridge is one of more then half a dozen high beam spans on the G85 expressway north of Zhaotong in the Sayuhe River valley. This last link of the G85 expressway was not completed until 2016 due to the difficult terrain that also required many long tunnels. One 20 kilometer stretch of this expressway area is 97% bridges and tunnels.
Sanchagou Bridge has a span configuration of 2x20 +95+180+95 +4x30 meters.
