Chiomonte, Piedmont, Italy
(295) feet high / (90) meters high
328 foot span / 100 meter span
1992

Ramat Bridge is one of 4 large viaducts on a spectacular stretch of the Autostrada della Valle di Susa E70 / A32 that winds through the Italian Alps before crossing into France.

The 920 meter long structure connects two tunnels on a curving plan that soars above the Dora Riparia River valley. Just to the east is the similar but lower Clarea Bridge that is around 50 meters high. Further east is the Gaglione Bridge about 40 meters high supported on spans of approximately 60 meters followed by the Vanaus Bridge with a height of approximately 30 meters.

In 2019 protests erupted below the Clarea Bridge where a new high speed TAV station is being constructed. The project includes new bridge viaducts leading directly onto the Clarea Bridge.
