The Qixing Number 1 Bridge is the first of two giant 6-lane beam bridges that make up the main east entrance access road to the Bijie Airport.

Bijie city has become a hot spot for high bridges with at least a dozen completed with more planned around the airport and high speed train stations.

The Qinxing Number 1 & 2 Bridges both look to have been abandoned before planned completion in 2020 and have still not resumed construction as of 2023.
