The highest frame bridge in Europe outside of Italy, the New Gueuroz bridge was built in 1994. Crossing 620 feet (189 mtrs) above the Trient River, the main span of 356 feet (108.5 mtrs) was chosen to maintain a profile that would harmonize with the 1933 concrete arch next to it. The road deck is supported on a large bathtub girder. The slender box beams and tapered struts are similar to the Dala Gorge bridge near Leuk and also in the Valais region of Switzerland. I have not measured the height of this bridge and cannot confirm the reported height of 620 feet (189 mtrs).

In 2011 a group of climbers suspended a hot tub platform below the bridge.
