Loushuihe Bridge is the highest span on the Hefeng East Expressway. The steel through-arch bridge is one of two high crossings that overlook the city of Hefeng with the giant Yunnanzhuang Bridge located 6 kilometers to the east.
The Loushui River is one of the longest and deepest in Hubei Province with many deep and spectacular gorges. Just upstream of the Loushuihe Expressway crossing is the 2-lane 149 meter high Tiaoyukan Bridge.
