La’ermu Bridge is one of several large beam crossings along the Leshan to Xichang Expressway in Sichuan Province with a span configuration of 93+160+93 meters

The expressway has at least half a dozen concrete beam spans over 90 meters high as well as the Suba arch bridge that is more then 200 meters high.

The biggest engineering challenge along the route is the 15.3 kilometer long Daliangshan #1 Tunnel that ranks among the 10 longest road tunnels in the world.
