One of the 3 high bridges around the Gassan Lake region, the Koamigawa Bridge is a 627 meter long concrete beam bridge with five spans of 102 meters. The 75 meter tall piers have prestressed concrete strands spiraling from top to bottom. Also nearby on the E48 route Yamagata Expressway is the Oamigawa arch bridge.

Just to the south is the Asahi Gassan Lake beam bridge.
