One of China's longest North-South expressways, the G5 stretches from Beijing to Kunming for 2,865 kilometers. The expressway only crosses the great Jinshajiang (Yangtze River) once on this medium sized cable stayed bridge.
The Xipan Expressway Bridge has a main span of 324 meters and a total length of 1,390 meters.
