The large red span of the Shinonomeo Bridge is a spectacular sight across a deep gorge of the Kiso River in the mountains northeast of Nagoya. Just a kilometer west is the beautiful white concrete beam of the Shinonomeo Bridge.

Further east are several other beautiful and high bridges across the Kiso River reservoir including two arches and a steel truss.
