Emoli I Bridge is one of 3 high beam crossings on the 2-lane route SS107 that connects Cosenza with the coastal city of Paola. Further west are the Cupo and San Pietro Bridges.
Completed in 1969, the Emoli I has a central span of approximately 95 meters. In 2018 concern grew about the significant dip in the center of the span from a sagging buffer expansion joint.
