Daqiaoxiang Bridge is a 2-lane road bridge along the Zhongdu River canyon next to the Zhongduhe 6-lane cable stayed bridge. These bridgs cross a tributary of the Jinshajiang River that has been submerged in water over 70 meters deep from the completion of the giant Xiangjiaba Dam across the river 70 kilometers downstream to the east.

The area is home to over 10 bridges that have been partially submerged in the reservoir including Xi'ninghe Bridge, the local route X163 Xi'ninghe Bridge, the S307 Xi'ninghe Bridge, Dahegou, Daqiaoxiang, Jinshajiang Bridge Xinshi, Jinshajiang Nan'an Bridge, Zhongduhe Expressway Bridge, Zhongduhe G213 Bridge and the Yangliuba Bridge.
