One of the longest span cable-stayed bridges in Hubei Province, the Danjiangkou Dam Bridge crosses a deep reservoir with a main span of 760 meters. The short back spans required the building of large concrete anchor blocks that hold approximately a dozen of the longest cable stays. The 6-lane crossing is 31.6 meters wide with towers 199.4 and 194 meters tall.
