The Changtouhe Bridge is one of several giant beam bridges along the new 6-lane G65 Expressway between Chongqing City and the Youyang to Yanhe Expressway in Chongqing Province.

The central pier rises an impressive 166 meters and supports a main span of 180 meters. The entire structure is 580 meters long and consists of a span configuration of 116+180+80 meters with approach spans of 40 meters on the west side.

Also not to be overlooked is the equally impressive Changtouhe Railway Bridge 长途河双线大桥 located just a kilometer north. The double track high speed structure is 345.6 meters long with a colossal single tower 130 meters tall supporting two spans of 132 meters. The deck is at least 80 meters above the Changtou River.
