The Balagezong Scenic Area Glass Platform is located deep within a spectacular river gorge more then a kilometer in depth. Built to lure tourists from the popular vacation city of Shangri-La, the square platform is only reachable via a 2-lane road that zig zags up the north side of the river canyon in Northern Yunnan Province.
