The second highest bridge along the long expressway between Kunming City and the Vietnam border, the Amojiang Bridge consists of 2 main spans of 130 meters atop piers with a maximum height of 103 meters. The approach spans are 2x 35 and 5x 35 meters.

The bridge is located 70 kilometers southwest of the giant Honghe bridge on route G8511 about 100 kilometers northeast of Pu'er in Yunnan Province.
